About wordpictures

My name is Justin Culbertson. I am extremely happily married and the father of 4. We reside in Fayetteville, GA, where I help shepherd Berachah Bible Church. I am best described as John Newton described himself: ""I am not what I ought to be. I am not what I wish to be. I am not even what I hope to be. But, by the Cross of Christ, I am not what I was."

That made me laugh for some reason. o.0 Was I supposed to?

  2. Fireflies stink fiercely when you squish them between your fingers. I guess they’re meant just to be gazed upon. Seriously though, you’re on a roll! Keep it up!

  3. Chuck says:

Maybe when you translated this from the original greek, the verb go messed up. Should it be “stories is” or “stories are”??

  4. wordpictures says:

Thankfully, my grammar must have come from mom. The nominative of the verb is the participle, “reading,” not “Justin’s stories. So “is” IS the correct choice. Or, I guess in the words of Bill Clinton, “It depends on what the meaning of the word, ‘is,’ is.” But nice try.

Mom’s comment to me would be “I told you so, or would have if you asked me”. At least you got you hand writing skills from me.

  6. wordpictures says:

Yes, my handwriting is definitely 100% paternal. That is why I type everything that has to be read by other people. Thanks for teaching me the Culbertson secret code.
